A good drive out HW 299, down a dirt road for about 7 miles, a hike for another little bit, leading to this amazing swimming hole and beautiful waterfall. A great way to spend a summer afternoon.

You have a lot of noise in this photo... did you sharpen in post-production? You might have inched along too far...

otherwise a lovely shot. :)

I've been starting to think of that as well...might tone down the sharpness a bit.

I always want to over-sharpen. It really sneaks up on you!

I went and found some falls myself this weekend...only they were 600km away from where I live haha. And the biggest piss off was I forgot my mounting plate so I had to use a gorillapod the whole time. Nice frame man.

I hate when I forget vital equipment! Biggest piss off for sure. I actually have a tripod and an extra mounting plate that live in my car, because I'd forgotten them so frequently for some reason. I'm getting better at it now...and thanks!
